SiteCake: Content Management Which Is A Piece Of Cake

SiteCake is a brand new CMS editor designed with small businesses in mind, focusing on allowing site editors to edit with minimal fuss and no technical knowledge. SiteCake lets editors edit the site while they browse it, including the ability to drag and drop media directly into the page.

Unlike some of the more powerful CMS tools available, like Joomla and Drupal, SiteCake has decided to limit the features in return for simplicity for the end users. This means that people who are busy running businesses and have no time to learn how to make a website can just get in there and edit content easily.
As soon as the site editor logs in they can immediately add, delete or rearrange the content of the site by dragging and dropping or simply editing the text in front of them.

How to Install WordPress on your Computer In 5 Minutes

Blogging and creating your own website is one way you can reach people all over the world and impart knowledge on just about everything to them. This is also a way you can promote your business by providing a website that all people can access. There are many web hosts and blog hosts you can find out there but among the equally popular one is WordPress. Many people use this because aside from all the features it has, it is also very easy to use and install. It only takes as simple as five minutes to install and you can already start using the program to create your website and publish your stories. Here is a quick guide on how to install wordpress on your computer in five minutes to help you get started.
There are very simple steps on how to install wordpress on your computer in five minutes using the Web Platform Installer by Microsoft.


  1. To start installing wordpress, run the Web Platform Installer. A popup will appear and then on the left side, click on the web applications tab and then click on “blogs” under the tab.
  2. A list of programs will appear and listed in alphabetical order so it will be easy for you to find wordpress.
  3. When you find wordpress, select it and then click install at the bottom of the window and it will display all the features and services needed to run wordpress such as PHP and MySQL. A new window will appear which will display a list of everything that will be installed and how much data will be downloaded which is around 70 MB.
  4. Click on the “I accept” button below and then you will be prompted that you need a password for your MySQL database. Once you click on continue it will now start downloading and installing.
